This laptop is operating under Kernel version 2.6.20
Basic Installation of SLAMD64 11:
I choose to use Slamd4 11 due to its similarities to Slackware Linux 11.
You can download Slamd64 from http://slamd64.com
Installation was as easy as any slackware based installation can be.
Downloading and compiling kernel 2.6.20 was done as a personal preference.
Issues:
The sound card is not fully supported. alsactl does not properly restore settings, not all functionality is available with this card.
The TI 5 in 1 card reader does not yet work.
Configuration Files
You will need to edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf to use the correct driver and/or maximum resolution (1280x768).
